Our speaker, Gay Douglas has been a senior move manager since 2008, when she and a friend founded the Niagara region’s first senior move management business after travelling to Boston for certified relocation and transition specialist (CRTS) training.
Most of Gay’s career has been spent in nonprofit management and adult education. However, she is incessantly curious and a natural born entrepreneur. Gay and her business partner saw the possibilities of getting into the exciting new industry of senior move management.
In 2017, Gay founded her second senior move company, this time as a family affair with her grown son and daughter. All 3 have a background in social work and therapeutic recreation. This unique perspective enhances the services they offer their clients and their families.
Her experience in the nonprofit sector and sensitivity to risk management lead the development of this presentation.
