Main Presentation:

“Cyber Security: Understanding Risks and Ways to Protect Yourself” by David Saphier of David’s Tech Concierge

David will be speaking on cyber security, and will be covering topics such as computer security, account protection, malware and ransomware, scams and hacking, and online privacy. He will also be discussing the online risks we all face and practical ways to protect yourself, your assets, and your data.

David has been involved with computers and technology since the 1970’s when he received his B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics and a M.S. in Computer Science. His professional career includes working for Bell Labs on the design of microprocessors; starting his own software company, developing one of the first communication products for PCs and Windows; consulting on business development, business funding and acquisitions. He currently operates David’s Tech Concierge focusing on helping individuals and home businesses make the best use of technology and digital media for their work and enjoyment. David is a NAPO-NY Business Partner and currently serves on the NAPO-NY Board as the Director of Communications & Technology.
